绝大多数澳洲大学教育学专业本科是4年，个别学校为3年。教育学专业本科的雅思要求相对比较高，部分学校要求直读大一时，雅思要达到7分。所以准备读教育学专业的学生，在英文学习方面需要对自己提出更高的要求。高中学生想要去澳洲留学读教育学专业本科，一般会有以下几种途径：
1. 高二结束之后，可以申请澳洲大学预科课程，学制一般是1年，预科的雅思要求一般是5.5，对于英文基础不好、不打算在国内参加高考的学生来说，这种方式比较适合。
2. 高三毕业的学生可以通过高考成绩直接申请本科大一直读，这种途径比较适合英文基础比较优秀的学生。

4. 大一在读的学生，如果本科第一学年的成绩达到学校的录取要求，可以免掉预科，直接读本科，这种方式对同学们来讲，英文要求比较高。
澳洲绝大多数学校没有直接进入教育学本科的快捷课程，只有个别学校会设快捷文凭课程Diploma，时间为1年，读完之后可以衔接本科大二。例如：麦考瑞大学，Bachelor of Arts with a major in Education ，学制：3年，可以通过Diploma课程衔接本科大二。
